Sr Argentum – Obrigada – Thank you so much for finding this humble turnip painting of mine and putting it in your post. As the turnips are hand grown by my parents in good Gisborne soil it would be good to know how best to cook them! Any suggestions very welcome.

>Chas, you surprise me… obrigada? You speak Portuguese? Now I will surprise you, I am an ex-pat Kiwi, been in South America 20+ years. I wasn’t sure that you were the artist, it wasn’t clear on the post, but I had the suspicion. ‘Turnips’ a great idea for tomorrow’s post. Muito obrigado for your visits, comment and follow, tudo agradicido. Oh, and Sr… nunca, sempre só Argentum.

Hi Argentum – sadly that’s my nano level of Portuguese due to a short holiday spent in the lovely country and recently having a bit to do with some wonderful Brazilian folk – what an interesting life you’ve had.
Look forward to reading about the turnip ideas – after painting them I’m a bit sad to cut them up – but it must be done. Chas

Well, your nano level was more than mine when I first arrived in Brazil; I spoke not a word. Turnip post is done.
